Trivial Pursuit Family Edition
As anybody who has tried to create a trivia game will tell you, the hardest part is pitching the game for the correct level of your players.
This family edition of the game is designed to be played by every age group. There are a number of ways to achieve this, but the best is to pitch questions at different levels, and have various members of the family answer them in turn.
Whether this is a success or not depends on the skill of the game designers and question masters. You’d expect the clever guys at Trivial Pursuit to get this spot on. They’ve achieved it by creating two sets of cards, one for kids and one for adults.
If you’re parents of teens, you may have a tough call to make. Adult Trivial Pursuit questions are really hard, and the kid ones are going to be rather too easy for most teens to find challenging.
On the other hand, smart teens and smart kids may well beat a team of all adults! Don’t expect a lot of play for children under the age of 11 years.
One of the best stealth Teaching Games available. Your kids will have fun while they learn, and hopefully might also get some sportsmanship lessons if they lose.
