Quick verdict

Mad Gab is a board game that is great for families or for the hires on the job to get them to loosen up around each other and break the ice.

The game and gameplay

Your team has 30 seconds to solve three word puzzles. Each word puzzle is one of four printed on each of 300 cards in the deck.

Get two more within the time limit and you get a point. But beware: if you miss, the other team has a chance to steal! The first team to get 25 points wins the game.

Mad Gab Comes with 1,200 Mad Gab puzzles on 300 cards, a timer unit, a flipper unit, labels, a score pad and instructions. It’s designed for 2 to 12 players in teams.Mad Gab is a board game that requires no board! You only require the deck of cards and pecils/pens to keep score.

This is a game that you can play in any setting, at home with your family or at the workplace as an ice breaker for new hires or to finish a meeting off with some amusement!

I’ve never met anyone who does not enjoy playing this game. Mad Gab is great for even those individuals who are usually the quiet type. They will be the ones who suprise you by shouting out the answer in front of everyone else.
Pros and cons

This is a game that can be set up and put away in very little time, making it a great game to carry along for life’s short interludes. It really is one of those games that can be played on the fly! This is also a really great team-building exercise for people.

The biggest downside to this game is the numbers you need to play it. To have it be as much fun as the game has potential to be, you need at least four people to play the game. If you have less than four people present, you are just carrying a useless box around with you.

The verdict

Mad Gab is one of those games that everybody loves and no-one wants to put away. So far my biggest problem with this game is that they do not have more decks of cards to facilitate more game play! Anyone of any age that can read will really enjoy playing the Mad Gab board game.

Mad Gab

by: Shergraham

The first time I saw this was when my niece just pulled out the cards without officially “playing” the game and had us trying to guess what we were saying as we read the cards. OMG laughed till we cried and stomach muscles ached! People are saying things perfectly but since they are paying too much attention to what they are seeing as they read, that they just don’t have a clue what is coming out of their own mouths. Hysterical and handy since you don’t even need to use the board if you just want to laugh….just whip out the cards.
