Kids who play board games with their Dad, especially when their Dad’s friends totally blew him off even though everybody’s Google Calendar clearly says “Catan – 2pm” for November 15th, are less likely to be throttled in their sleep by an overstressed, overanxious parent who just needs to get his boardgame fix, dammit!

As they say: the family that plays together, stays together. Playing board games with your kids can teach them valuable lessons about life:

It’s also a great bonding experience. Nothing says Father-Son bonding than an hour spent sending plastic tokens representing thousands of people to their deaths in order to further your dreams of world conquest.
