Blood Bowl Elves

Not long after the first Blood Bowl miniatures appeared, the first teams debuted. Here’s the Elf team from 1988. I never really got the Elves in the BloodBowl lineup. They look too fancy and not down and dirty enough to be playing the lethal fantasy Football game. Probably the paint jobs on the advertised team were too intricate and didn’t suit the game system. Anyway, the best bit about this team for me was the Elf cheerleader (top right), which is definitely a man in drag!
