Value of Franklin Mint Scrabble with the table?

Value of Franklin Mint Scrabble with the table?

Any idea what the value of the Franklin Mint Scrabble game WITH the table would be?

Although I have seen the game for sale for around $500, I have never seen the table. I have both and am trying to determine the value. ANY help would be MUCH appreciated. Thank you!!

The Beast says:

Hmm. Interesting! I did not know there was an official TABLE from Franklin Mint. The one in the picture above seems to be a fairly anonymous walnut coffee table.

Can you send us a photo of it, John? Take the picture without the board on it.

As far as the value is concerned, our advice would be to check eBay on a regular basis. You never know when something like that will turn up. Good luck and don't forget that picture!

Franklin Mint Scrabble Game and Table

Back again, it appears that Franklin MInt has started to produce the Collectors Scrabble game again and it is now around $600.00. I have put a bid on a scrabble chair and will continue to look for atleast one other if not three for a set. It does not look like they are going to start making the table again.

table
by: Lisa

yes, there is an official table that is no longer being made as well as the Scrabble game. I have both as well and bought them second hand about seven years ago before the Mint stopped making the game. There is also a glass cover made for the game to protect it when on display. the table is beautiful and is not the one in the picture as its top fits the game exactly with no space left over. there are drawers on each side of the square table top that pull out so the players can keep their letters while playing. My table was a few hundred dollars when I bought it but now that the game is no longer being made and the table too, I would assume the value is much greater. Something is worth only what another is willing to pay. I don't give much credence to appraisals unless there is an actual "buyer" willing to pay the appraisal price.

yes there is a table

there is an official table because I have both the game and table. I bought both through a private sale before they stopped making both. there is also a glass cover for the top of the game to save it from dust and wear when on display. When it was in production, the table was a few hundred dollars, but I don't know about now. It is worth what someone would pay for it, lol. It is an attractive table and goes perfectly with the game with individual pull out draw like things on each of the four sides for players to put their scrabble pieces when playing.
