It’s a medical miracle that this guy named Mel is still alive, as his immune system is so comprised that he has every ailment imaginable (and it’s not a case of hypochondria). There is hope for him, however, via an innovative new practice called Match 3 surgery.
What’s it about?
You are going to be one very rich doctor indeed when you get done curing the dozens upon dozens of things that are wrong with Mel. Every few stages, a sickness will disappear from Mel’s patient photo, but it doesn’t really feel like you’re achieving much at first, because there are still plenty of other disorders to get to. 
You start by scanning Mel’s body for the individual symptoms of a bigger issue (it’s amazing he’s even able to stand up for this). Each symptom serves as a level, and a few must be remedied before you can move on to the next malady.
Perhaps it is all of the goodies and sweets that Mel eats that puts him in such poor health. Mixed in with mouth-watering junk food are bugs that need to be popped, gunk zones that need to be cleared, viruses that wiggle and attach to things, items covered in crud, and more.
Every couple of days you’ll get to meet with a salesman to make use of Mel’s hospital bills and buy improved medical gear. How one would describe such devices to a patient is to call them power ups, and they are things like a shot to remove one item and a gunk drip to erase a column of nasty goo. You recharge your power ups by matching medical bags within the game’s grids.

The verdict
Unwell Mel is a cute and entertaining joy to Match 3 fans and foes alike. I say foes because it’s good enough for even those who don’t prefer the genre of play.
