Star Trek Monopoly

As seems to happen with most of the popular TV and movie tie-ins, there's two Monopoly Star Trek editions, so collectors will be stretched to cover both of them.

First, there's Star Trek: The Next Generation Monopoly (pictured top right). This is the more valuable item, though eBay's prices tend to be more competitive: $50 or so (April 2010) vs $90 on Amazon. The set includes pewter figures of Picard, Data and the rest of the TNG gang, which is cute.

Star Trek Continuum edition Monopoly includes a really nice board with extra-large pictures of the most famous members of the USS Enterprise crew over the various Star Trek series.

This one is cheaper by far, priced at $30 on Amazon (April 2010) and around $10 on eBay.

We recommend buying a copy of the TNG edition, if you can find it for around $50 including shipping, and storing it carefully for future resale value.
