Spongebob Squarepants. What a weird concept and it's been a huge hit with the 'tweens audience. Even my five-year-old watches with horrified fascination with his cousins. But the interesting point about this show is that many of the jokes are written over the heads of the target audience, so you still find some teens who watch the show.

This is reflected in the Spongebob Operation game. Where in the old edition, you were operating on tame, but cute ailments, like the Funny Bone, Bread Basket and Butterflies in the Stomach, Spongebob fans will be treating their square hero for slightly edgier complaints. Continues below
You'll be plucking out his Barnacle Brain, Clammy Hands, Patty Pleasure Center, Evil Thoughts and Wrench in the Plan. None of this will surprise you if you were initially shocked to hear that Spongebob and his pals live in a town called Bikini Bottom!
The graphics are what you'd expect, high quality and right on theme. Whether fans of the show will play the Spongebob Squarepants Operation game is another matter -- anybody over the age of 11yrs is probably not a great fit for the product.
