Quick verdict
Sequence is a very entertaining board and card game in one. It can be played with 2-3 players, or even teams!
The game and gameplay
The materials used are a standard deck of playing cards, tokens of a cerain colour (ie. blue, red, green) and a board that has each card of each four suits twice.
This game is quite simple to learn actually. All you have to do is make a sequence of five tokens.
Now, to get a sequence you are given six cards. Let’s say that one of your cards is a nine of hearts. You’d find the corresponding card on the playing board and place your token on that card.
Keep this up and you will eventually form the required sequence and win the game.
However, there are very special cards in the deck. The Jacks. As in any deck of cards, there are one-eyes jacks and two-eyed jacks. A one-eyed jack can be used to remove a token, while a two-eyed jack can be used as a wild card.I first learned of this game when we went to stay with family in Indiana. We brought it out when everyone was swimming in the pool. Playing poolside, or anywhere for that matter, is a great way to relax with family and friends. The fact that Sequence is a very laid back game, is an added bonus!
However, the Sequence board game is somewhat difficult to find. We looked in three different states before we could find it. We eventually found it in a specialty book store.

The verdict
But I highly recommend the Sequence board game to anyone who just wants to pull something out so that you can get the whole family together for anywhere between 15-30 minutes.
