Quick verdict
Anyone who has played games growing up or happens to live next door to a hall (ahem) knows that bingo is not just for old people. Way back when I was first starting to "dab"-ble into PC gaming, I can remember playing Saints and Sinners Bingo and thinking that it was really fun.
What’s it about?
You’ve just joined the competitive bingo circuit (well, if it can be called competitive, as the game is 99.9% luck), traveling around the country in hopes of making it to the championships.
Each level will start with a cute paragraph regarding the venue you’re playing at, show you your opponents (either saints or sinners), and display the goals for the location (which must be met for you to move on).
Once you’re inside the establishment du jour, what I like to call "speed bingo" begins. You’re given a collection of three numbers to eyeball and scan your card(s) for at once. As soon as you’re satisfied with your search, hit Next Call to keep things moving.
It’s advantageous to move onto the next set of digits as soon as you can, because for some reason, you’re the only one in charge of this. Other players are blocked from marking a square that’s been called if they’re too slow (but so are you, so scan carefully!). You earn bonus money for getting three or more dabs per go.
The Saints and Sinners Bingo crews are
consistently making halfway amusing chit-chat at the bottom of your screen. Try not to indulge in their gossip, as it can be distracting.
Do be on the lookout for rivals offering power up deals, though, which can be used to distract, block, or otherwise screw your enemies over. Sometimes you must purchase the goods, other times you merely have to promise to win. When you’re first starting out, many charms will be given to you for free out of the goodness of their hearts... or (in the case of the sinners) because they pity you.

Pros and cons
+ You can play at one or two-card difficulty.
+ The goals are what make the game great and are things like earning a certain amount of money (every dab counts!) or getting bingo in a variety of shapes.
+ There are also jackpot boards that will award you with a hefty pile of dough if you happen to match the extra pattern. This is automatic (you don’t need to click Bingo! as in the regular game).+ A regular bingo mode is also available.
+ There are 30 heaven-sent and hell-bent characters to play alongside.
- It lacks enough of a point to marathon it.
The verdict
Saints and Sinners Bingo is a fast-searching, clever time waster. It doesn’t have enough substance or strategy, though, for more serious gamers.
