Pastry Passion is yet another Match 3 game with cute characters and a tasty theme. It's probably more likely to put you to sleep than send you on a sugar high, though.
What's it about?
It takes some real willpower to work in a bakery; fortunately in Pastry Passion, this is made easier by the game's screen barrier. You play as a hotdog-nosed character that delights in learning the ropes at a place that is filled with all things sweet.
The bulk of Pastry Passion is similar to Coffee Rush or Pizza Chef in that the Match 3 that you do fulfills customer orders.
The raw ingredients are listed by quantity value on plates under the main game grid, and as soon as you make enough matches to cover all of the ingredients, a pastry is formed. It only takes a quick click to wrap the baked good and move onto the next delectable delicacy.
Swapping cupcakes, chocolate bars and orange slices doesn't occur under a visible time limit, but you'll still want to move fast, as speed of service affects the quality stars that come with each dish. You need to amass a certain number of quality stars in order to pass the level.

The verdict
Junk food is a great choice for a Match 3 theme; however, as in Pastry Passion, it's not always enough to sweeten the game play. It's not as bad as burnt cookies, but I wouldn't call it angel food, either.
