Monopoly NASCAR

Monopoly NASCAR presents a problem for the dedicated Monopoly collector. Simply, there's been more than one of them -- and some are expensive!

Our research turned up My NASCAR Drivers Monopoly (pictured top right), which is priced on Amazon at a reasonable $25 (May 2009).

From there, things get sticky. The Monopoly NASCAR Collector's edition will set you back a painful $85 on Amazon; only one left in stock, too, at time of writing.

Monopoly Dale Earnhardt is an even more pricy $99 at the moment and again, only one is left on Amazon. Ouch.

As if that were not bad enough news, there's worse. ANOTHER Nascar collector's edition exists (pictured left), priced at $206 on Amazon!

(There's also a NASCAR 50th anniversary edition in a tin that's not listed on Amazon and a NEXTEL Cup edition which is around $50.)

Fortunately for the sanity of all civilized life, eBay was created for just this reason. You can save a packet by shopping using the eBay widget below.

Examples: We found the Fantasy Drivers edition for just 99c; the "cheap" collector's edition for $4.99 (a saving of 95 per cent!); and the "good" limited edition for $8 (a saving of 97 per cent!!). If you're not convinced that eBay is not worth checking out by now, you never will be!
