Lemonade Tycoon 2 is a competent Tycoon game. It's fun, but ultimately you will be left thirsting for more depth and variety.
What's it about?
Remember the time you opened a lemonade stand, selling yellowish-sugary water for a quarter to raise the money to buy that catapult you always wanted?
Even if you grew up in a neighborhood where you'd be mugged if you set up a stand, you must at least have seen Charlie Brown do this in Peanuts.
Anyway. The point is, Lemonade Tycoon games put you in charge of a potential lemonade EMPIRE!
Take to the streets of New York and flog your lemons to thirsty kids, moms and commuters. Buy and upgrade stands, stock them with ice, lemons and sugar, set your prices, market your stand...
The more you sell, the more you can afford to train your staff, improve the quality of your service, buy more and bigger stands and so on.
There's plenty of different game styles to enjoy, but you will wonder why you are limited to New York City? Why not become a franchise and conquer America?

Pros and cons
+ Fair amount of depth, detailed reporting of stats, customer satisfaction, profit and loss etc.
+ Good graphics and sound without wowing you and without a need to upgrade your older PC.
+ Micromanagement fans will love the difference a few tweaks can make to the bottom line.
- Long-term challenge is limited by geography. Other cities would have given this game much better replayability.
- You'll find yourself skipping each day to cut to the chase. Unless you are hyper-focused on the customer reactions minute by minute, the daytime view is pretty pointless.
The verdict
Lemonade Tycoon 2 is a decent game. It's got enough meat to appeal to "proper" Tycoon heads, without being totally overwhelming if you prefer your business sims lightweight. Ultimately, you will want more and not find it.
