I Love Scrabble

My turn!!!
I love Scrabble and have been playing it since, well, as far back as I can remember. It wasn't always on the board and it wasn't always with an opponent. Sounds weird, eh? Sometimes it was just on paper, I wanted to make words up and challenge myself!
But the best way to play is with an opponent, but never more than three other players at a time. My favorite is with one opponent: the game lasts longer that way and I'm only sharing letters with one other person.
The idea is to make words and to use them strategically so as to also put them on as many doubles and triples as possible. Another way to achieve a higher score is to align them up with other letters to create multiple words in one move. If you use all seven of your letters, you get a 50pt bonus.
The age of the players doesn't matter, as long as they can spell. Fortunately, Scrabble is also available as a computer game too, so you can play against the computer if there isn't another person present to play with. I warn you now that the computer is an adept player and at its most challenging level, difficult to beat.
If you haven't played Scrabble, give it a go. You won't be sorry. 5 footprints for me!
