The news is precise and has reached all over that board games are now at the boarders of Hollywood and are sure to enter the industry, giving a thrill to the crowd.
It all began with the success of Transformers and followed by another historic brand of Hasbro, the G.I. Joe. This big toy manufacturer has a deal with Universal Pictures to make movies based on the products: toys or games. Hence Hollywood is ready to make major investments for new big budgets movies based on board games.
After the big success of super heroes, entertainment movies and the renewed invasion of toys in the cinemas, now Hollywood is ready to hit on board games. New versions are ready for the next year to hit the big screen with some of the popular board games of the twentieth century.

Candy Land
The Hasbro Candy Land board game will develop a new movie directed by Kevin Lima and written by Ethan Cohen. Created in1949, Candy Land is very popular board game among American children. Currently, Hasbro produces several versions of the game, involving a puzzle, a travel version and a PC game.
Clue
The new movie inspired on the Clue board game will be directed by Gore Verbinski. With an all-star cast, this was earlier produced into a comedy in the eighties. The director of Pirates of the Caribbean is person to create colourful and fun atmosphere of this game.
Battleship
After creating Hancock, Peter Beg is set to produce the popular naval warfare board game into a naval warfare movie. Risk Sony Pictures has acquired the rights to produce a new movie based on the Risk board game, the announcement of the new movie based on Battle Ship.
Ouija
Onuija board (also called Weegee) is a plane surface on which you can draw the alphabet, numbers 0 to 9 and others symbols. Producers Brad Fuller and Andrew Form, reported to SCI FI Wire that are close to hire a top writer to produce an horror movie based on the Ouija board. It is believed that with Ouija they can ask questions to the souls of the departed, pointing the letters and the symbols of the board.
Monopoly
Monopoly being the most popular board game in the world will be into a film capturing humour, fun and thrill for a family to enjoy. Ridley Scott will direct it.
