If you love Diner Dash and adore animals, than Doggie Dash will have natural attraction for you. It’s yet another example of how any business is a potential DASH game.
What’s it about?
Alice Greenfingers 2 game review The verdict

The stereotype says that dogs and cats are supposed to hate each other, but not Rocky and Wendy. They’ve got a serious case of puppy love going on (or whatever you want to call it, as the couple is only half canine).
They met and fell head over paws at a mom and pop pet salon, but now the spa is closing. They convince their respective owners, Walter and Scarlett, to cash in on the business venture to keep their love alive.
You can go through the game as either partner; pets tend to warm up to Walter more, while Scarlett can get things done faster. One will be in charge of carrying the animals from station to station, while the other delivers the pampered pets to their owners and collects money.
The spa is unrealistically walk-in; nobody ever has an appointment. Canines and felines come in all day long, each looking for an unique set of services. Little icons by the pet’s head will tell you if they want a bath, haircut, dumb outfit, or all of the above.
The main partner you’re playing as transports the fur balls to the places they need to be, while other employees perform the actual labor. Counters appear to inform you on a task’s progress.
The pets – like people – come in all different personalities and temperaments. You’ll want to serve the prissy ones first so that you don’t lose any business. You can help the animals keep their cool by force-feeding treats, administering belly rubs, and telling jokes.
Doggie Dash wouldn’t be a true time management game without an emphasis on combos. Segregate the stations (one bath for pups, the other for kitties) to really rack up the points. Also get in the habit of swapping one animal for another as much as possible.
After a shift has been completed successfully and you’re dog tired, use your goal money on upgrades that come in multiple levels. A splash of custom paint is always first on my list, as each new venue has you looking like you’re doing business from your basement.

Pros and cons
+ It’s cute without being kiddie, and actually has some serious gameplay to it.
+ The aesthetic boosts are beautiful, and it’s fun to personalize the spas from a set of two choices (three if you get Expert on a level).
+ Sometimes you’ll have to cover the responsibilities of BOTH Scarlett and Walter, adding to the challenge.
+ A treadmill gets added in later levels for the animals to run on for bonus points.
+ Flo from Diner Dash stops by with her dog, Skillet, from time to time.
+ 50 challenging, re-playable levels and also an Endless mode.
+ Go back and play through it as the opposite business owner!
- It can be frustrating to reset to no upgrades at the starting levels of a new spa.
- The overkill of puns in-between levels is enough to give you a hairball!
This is one of the more difficult time management games that I have played, but that’s what made it so addictive. The pet aspect may not be pleasing to some and thus, the footprint rank has been docked accordingly.
