Chuzzle Deluxe is the cutest arcade puzzler around. It's a bit long in the tooth but none the worse for it. If you like Match 3 games, you'll love it!
What's it about?
If you're over the age of 30, you may remember a craze for little fluffy balls with sticky feet and googly eyes.
These used to be stuck everywhere, pencil cases at school, your mum's car dashboard and anywhere you could find a flat surface. (The glue was a bugger to get off after you removed them, too.)
Now imagine a Match 3 game where those were the 'puzzle pieces'. Yes, fluffy creatures with googly eyes are back! And this time, it's personal. (At least it will be when you're not getting any sleep!).
Left-click to "grab" a Chuzzle and then drag it either horizontally or vertically. The entire row moves. The idea is that you make a 'cluster' of at least three of the same colour Chuzzles.
What will catch you out at first (it always does for me) is that unlike other Match 3 games, you don't have to make a straight line. A pair next to a single is enough to make a match.
Fortunately for amateur Chuzzle players, the Chuzzles' fur starts bristling when they're in place for a match. Release the left mouse button and "POOF!", the Chuzzles in that match all vanish.
By matching more than three at once, you get huge Chuzzles, or glowing "bomb" Chuzzles that explode and take out other ones around them when you make a match. Match too many minimum amounts and you'll start to get Locks, which prevent their row or column from being moved.
There's classic, Zen and time modes to keep you interested, as if you'll need more reason to keep coming back...
